Belonging to the tradition of contemplative prayer, Christian Meditation is rooted in sacred scripture and ancient Christian spirituality. It is part of our history and has been practiced by Christian Saints, men and women from all walks of life.
The classic definition of Christian Meditation is seeking God in faith in the depths of one's being.
Christian meditation is not thinking about God, it is about being with God; moving beyond words, thoughts and images. It is during this time of stillness that one can truly be blessed with feeling the Lord's presence.
If you long for a personal and loving relationship with the Lord, join Trinity every Saturday the Sabbath, in quiet contemplative prayer. You have nothing to lose, except the separation from the Lord you currently feel.
Each class will start with a short talk on contemplative prayer based on the teachings of ancient Christian Saints such as John Main, Greg Watson, John of the Cross, Francis of Assisi and others.
Each class will end with prayer through the joining of hands.
